ICACHI: Chinese CHI 2017

International Chinese Association of Computer Human Interaction (ICACHI) was founded on May 10, 2012, in Austin, USA, during ACM CHI 2012. Chinese CHI has successfully held three editions alongside ACM CHI: April 29, 2013, in Paris; April 26–27, 2014, in Toronto; and April 18–19, 2015, in Seoul. Chinese CHI 2017 will take place in Guangzhou, China, on June 8–10, 2017.
Chinese CHI 2017 offers Chinese HCI researchers worldwide opportunities for academic–industry exchange. Human–Computer Interaction examines interactions between people and machines. Successful projects integrate many disciplines: computer graphics, AI, natural language processing, multimedia, systems, and networks on the machine side; and communications, media, industrial design, linguistics, social science, cognitive psychology, and human factors on the human side. Chinese CHI 2016 is delighted to host this important academic workshop in San Jose and invites researchers and industry professionals worldwide to share ideas and celebrate this academic gathering.
The Fifth International Symposium of Chinese CHI (Chinese CHI 2017) will be held 8 to 10 Jun in Guangzhou, Chia. Chinese CHI is Chinese leading forum for research in all areas of Human-Computer Interaction. It attracts an international community of practitioners, researchers, academics and students from a wide range of disciplines including user experience design, software engineering, human factors, information systems, social science and creative industries among other disciplines.
