ICACHI 2016 Board Elections: Nomination Schedule and Rules
Elections for the third ICACHI Board of Directors are approaching. We sincerely thank the second board for its important contributions to human–computer interaction research and look forward to your active participation in nominating and electing the next board.
Important dates and requirements are listed below.
March 31: nomination website announced
April 6: deadline for nominations and self-nominations
April 11: deadline for statements of willingness to serve, for candidates nominated by others
April 12: candidate list announced
April 19: open question-and-answer period ends
April 20: voting website announced
April 25: voting closes
April 30: new board announced
Please note that only full members who have paid their 2016 dues may nominate candidates or vote. Anyone wishing to nominate, stand for election, or vote must register and pay before 5 p.m. Eastern Time on March 31. The nomination website will be sent only to paid members that day. ICACHI's dues payment system is available at https://www.regonline.com/icachimembership. Members registered for Chinese CHI 2016 need not pay again because their registration already includes 2016-2017 membership dues.
