世界华人华侨人机交互协会（International Chinese Association of Computer Human Interaction，简称“ICACHI”，网站 icachi.org）于2012年5月10日在美国Austin（ACM CHI2012国际会议期间）成立。ChineseCHI已经成功举办了四届，Chinese CHI 2013、Chinese CHI 2014、Chinese CHI2015和Chinese CHI2016分别于2013年4月29日在法国巴黎、2014年4月26-27日在加拿大多伦多、2015年4月18-19日在韩国首尔、2016年5月7-12日在美国圣何塞与当年ACM CHI国际会议同期举办。Chinese CHI 2017国际华人交互大会将在2017年6月8日到9日在中国广州举办。
本次大会承办方广东工业大学是一所以工为主、工理经管文法艺结合的、多科性协调发展是广东省高水平大学重点建设高校。学校坐落在中国南方名城广州，地理位置优越，多个学科相互促进协调发展，创设多个协同创新科研平台。学校致力于培养有国际视野、有坚实基础、有创新能力的人才。广东工业大学于2004年正式成立艺术与设计学院，现为世界艺术、设计与媒体院校联盟成员（Cumulus Member）。现有工业设计、产品设计、服装设计与工程、服装与服饰设计、视觉传达设计、环境设计、动画、数字媒体艺术、数字媒体技术、美术学、表演11个专业。学院注重国际合作，与芬兰阿尔托大学、美国伊利诺伊理工大学、瑞典皇家艺术设计大学、日本名古屋市立大学、香港理工大学等国（境）外顶级设计院校和芬兰创意设计公司、方-洪设计事务所等国际化设计公司建立了稳定的国际交流与合作关系。
此次Chinese CHI 2017国际研讨大会将提供全世界华人HCI研究工作者一个产业学术交流的机会。HCI是Human–Computer Interaction的简称，旨在探讨使用者与机器间的互动。一个成功的HCI project需要整合很多跨领域的人才与知识。在机器方面相关的研究领域例如电脑图学、人工智慧、自然语言处理、多媒体、系统、计算机网路等，在使用者方面的研究领域例如通信视讯、传播媒体、工业设计、语言学、社会科学、认知心理学及人因设计等相关理论，可说是博大精深，五花八门。Chinese CHI 2017国际华人交互大会将在2017年6月8日到9日在中国广州举办，希望全世界华人HCI产业与学术研究工作者拥跃参与，相互切搓交流，共襄盛举。
The Fifth International Symposium of Chinese CHI (Chinese CHI 2017) will be held 8 to 9 Jun in Guangzhou, China. Chinese CHI is Chinese leading forum for research in all areas of Human-Computer Interaction. It attracts an international community of practitioners, researchers, academics and students from a wide range of disciplines including user experience design, software engineering, human factors, information systems, social science and creative industries among other disciplines.
